We're looking for an experienced BEMS Project Manager located in UK willing to travel to client sites, applying their technical knowledge and project delivery skills to help us deliver projects correctly, on budget and within the time-frame.

The BEMS Project Manager role will be responsible for all aspects project delivery, from undertaking sales to operations handovers, engineering management right through to project handover and post completion support. This is a varied role, that will offer a different working day one to the next, and will work alongside the customer, account management and project engineering teams.


Your mission
How you will do it:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Undertake a sales handover to interpret and understand the scope of works
  • You'll be scheduling, planning, forecasting and managing all technical activities from project conception to completion across multiple projects
  • Performing job start up, checkout, and troubleshooting for systems and service installed jobs.
  • Performing all tasks under the supervision of the Contracts Manager/Projects Business Manager.
  • Providing full financial statistics on all projects assigned to you
  • Overall responsibility for the health, safety and environmental management of all projects within your portfolio
  • Support the sales & technical team for compilation and completion of technical feasibility studies
  • Provide direction, control and implementation of projects
  • Be responsible for the commercial performance of the project
  • Monitor, review and report on the progress
  • Provide regular reports to project leadership
  • Maintains relevant professional certifications and licenses, e.g. Trade qualified in Electrical or Mechanical (HNC preferable or trade industry background with a recognized qualification).
Your profile
You'll succeed in this role if you have:

  • Min. 5 year’s project management experience in the construction industry, with experience in BMS/BEMS, smart buildings and control systems
  • High Level BMS knowledge with key understanding of engineering principals
  • Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, SharePoint & Teams. In addition, experience of working with Slack, Confluence and JIRA would be beneficial.
  • Experience working on large projects, with a track record for delivery. Typical projects will be £500k-£3M in value
  • Comfortable working as part of a team, managing remote resource
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
